Alpaca

Grilled alpaca tenderloin served with french fries and vegetables we prepair with local famer products and organics products or with a soft spicy cream and confit tomatoes. Served with quinotto (quinua, yellow chilli and cheese) and vegetables or stew served with white rice and sautéed potatoes.
Not just the beauty of Cusco city, the food it has to offer is just hard to beat. One of those happen to be alpaca steak and cuisine made of alpaca in general. I had never tried any alpaca before in my life so I was so excited when I got a chance.

Stuffed rocoto peppers parade from their wrappings on many street corners in Cusco City and it's surroundings. Very apprenticing and popular among Cusqueños, is acombination of sautéed ground beef, diced carrots, and peas, as well as by the spiciness that gives hot tickles to your palate
One of the main street foods, as well as something served as an appetizer or even a main course, rocotos rellenos are eaten regularly in the Cusco region in a variety of places.
The casera (street vendor) provides these popular treats along with boiled potatoes.
Corn Hops

Cusco's Sacred Valley is famous for its giant corns. Many things can be made from corn but the most famous has to be the corn-based called chicha. Like beer, Chicha de Jora is an alcoholic beverage that dates back to the Inca Empire and is very popular among the andean locals.
Like it or hate it, you have to at least try it if you are in Cusco.
There are 3 kinds of chicha; chicha de Jora, frutillada and chicha morada (non alcoholic).
